OK, ok. I'll put my hat in the ring.
Reasons _not_ to vote for me:
I am a shirker and a long-time Cuis user -- have not used Squeak in ages.
However, I am a guilty bystander [partial list of sins]: 1980's Tektronix Research Lab doing Scheme runtime but interacting with (later) Instantiations Team & Tek Smalltalk. 1990's Apple Labs doing SK8 and various while down the hall Squeak was cooking. Did some very early benchmarking with John Maloney (I did for Scheme to compare with Squeak). Got to know various folks. Larry Tesler was my hiring manager. Did runtime inspection of Dave Simmons' Smalltalk Agents for Apple. Did a Scheme->Smalltalk translator and Solitaire game in Squeak (early 2000's). Resurrected OpenSmalltalk FrameBuffer support for Linux. Did initial port of stack interpreter to arm64/aarch64 and riscv64 Linux. Contributer to Cuis and am one author of TheCuisBook ( https://github.com/Cuis-Smalltalk/TheCuisBook )
Please add my name to candidates for the Squeak Oversight Board.
If elected, I will pay attention and try not mess up. [Campaign promise (TM)]
Good on ya, -KenD
