I think the question is whether you should do this, or reverse the
order of the lines, or just add the line #Squeak3.10alpha.

I think that if the update file is to be a complete record of the
history of Squeak, it needs both lines.  But do we want a 3.9 image to
automatically convert itself to 3.10?  I don't know.

I am interested in hearing from experts!
