Chris
After much cussing I loaded R41.2 and it works fine in seaside 2.8.4. I think this is significant as increasingly only web apps are viable.
There is the minor load error.
I appreciate your work.
Be well Brian

Hi Brian, please see the first sentence of Magma home page for the list of supported images.
http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/2665
I recommend 3.9 or 3.10.

Brian, please point me to where I can download an image like the one you're using and then perhaps I can try it out..

Chris,
Thanks for the response
I gave it 15 minutes.
It is in MagmaSesion submit:to:
Target folder: Commits dir Applied.images 0 size Object1.dat 1kb
I cancel and try to open:
MagmaSession openLocal: 'c:\myMagmaFolder' -> validation error "does not
appear to be magma"
I appreciate your assistance

Hi Brian, it should be fine to comment that out.
It has no bearing on creating a repository. If something doesn't "complete" in Magma, press Alt + . (period), and a pink window will report what is being waited on.. ;-)

Greetings,
I am trying to load Magma into Seaside 2.8.4. I get a load error:

do:

aMaClassReference id:
(classIdManager
idForClass: aMaClassReference classObject

Cannot store into ->aMaClassReference := nil ] ;
afterMaterializingAny:

do:

I tried simply commenting out the obvious error but then the create

completes.

I am working under Vista.
I would appreciate guidance.
