Hi all, i'm looking for people who are interested by the translation of EToys in vietnamese. The current version is available here: http://translate.sugarlabs.org/vi/etoys/ Only 21% of the sentences are translated. There is also some work to be done in Smalltalk in order to be able to use a vietnamese font with Etoys. But i can do that ;-)
If you would like to participate, the best idea is maybe to join the Smalltalk-vn mailing list in order to talk about that : http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/smalltalk-vn The best idea is maybe that each volunteers take a row of 10 sentences to translate and when a row is finished, you can take another one.
From my previous experience on the french translation of EToys, some
sentences are not very easy to translate, because you need the context. So sometimes, you need to launch EToys in order to check if the translation is coherent with the rest of the system.
Best regards,
Hi Serge Stinckwich, I want to participate to translate EToys into Vietnamese. How can I take the original?
Best regards,

Thank you for your interest.

I think the best way to coordinate is to have a web page for vietnamese translation on the Squeakland wiki. I will ask the EToys community, where we could put this information.
