I see. But it seems that NSIS only works on Windows. I will write an article about Squeak installation on Linux. And I think, few children play with Linux box. local setup for poor network condition

Hi, Somebody told me that the installer hang there if there was a poor network connection. In order to sovle this problem, I created a local setup installer, please try it as the following steps: First, you need a download tools which support resumable dowanloading, such as NetAnts or FDM(Free download manager) etc. Use your downloading tools to download the following files into one folder. http://ftp.squeak.org/current_stable/win/Squeak-Win32-3.7.1-VM.zip http://liuxinyu95.googlepages.com/SqueakPlugin-dev-zh-cn-init.image.zip http://liuxinyu95.googlepages.com/SqueakPlugin-dev-zh-cn-init.changes.zip http://liuxinyu95.googlepages.com/SqueakV3.zip http://liuxinyu95.googlepages.com/zh-cn.translation http://liuxinyu95.googlepages.com/squeak3.8chn_win_local.exe After you finish all downloads, double click the squeak3.8chn_win_local.exeexecutive program, it will do the left jobs for you. Hi all, Thanks chain shun helped me to find out there is a problem in installer. If you install squeak to the default folder as C:\Program Files\Squeak3.8CHN\ It failed to startup. Now this problem has been fixed. Please get the latest installer from http://liuxinyu95.googlepages.com/squeak3.8chn_win_installer.exe and run it for your installation. Also there are some users meet another problem becuase of bad network connection. I will try to find the solution as soon as possible. Best regards. yours, Liu.

Hi All, Please try it from: http://liuxinyu95.googlepages.com/squeak.dev.chinese It's a Chinese page. There is a "one-click" setup in it. the install progress may need about 10 minutes or so. It haven't been finished yet, and you are welcome to try it and send us feed back. Also the chinese version squeak plugin (the EToy one) are in our working schedule.
