Hi Bob, now it's okay. Torsten Bergman helped me. My first mistake was (and it's the error message "subscript is out of bounds: 4294967296") that I had display depth set on 32 bits. After I set it to 8 bits, it was okay. And my second mistake was, that I tried to evaluate "FMPWindow open" in standard MVC. I catched error message: ""Message not understood: addMorph:". But after opening fresh new Morphic project and evaluation of "FMPWindow open" it was okay. Thanx to Torsten's advice. Now I am going to have some fun with your cool game ;-> peter. Squeak and relational databases

Haven't seen any traffic on this subject for a while. Did some munging about the web and didn't stumble on anything. I'm hoping that someone has some way to do Squeak <-> SQL connectivity. Could be via ODBC. (Preferably to Postgresql!) Any leads? -- kurt

Someone suggested that either the sources or changes were not downloaded as binary files, so I downloaded everything again using ftp rather than netscape, and that seemed to fix the problem. Afterward, I updated from the server as you suggested. Hopefully, everything is now solid.

newest enhancements

Hello, The newest versions of my two previous enhancements (CelesteTweaks and WindowSelection) can be found at: http://www.ualberta.ca/~jgargus/squeak.html In addition, I have a new enhancement, BrowserKeyboardEnhancements, that allows you to navigate Browser panes with the left and right arrow key. This is particularly handy in conjunction with the WindowSelection enhancement. It currently just works with the standard (green) browser, and only in Morphic, but this could be changed if enough people would find it useful. Josh

Why doesn't Disney buy VisualWorks from OBJS ?

It would make a lot of people happy and willing to help with "squeaking" VisualWorks. OBJS could concentrate on training/consulting, they would probably be much better off. Just a daydream... Florin
