I originally tried to provide a different systemOrganizer to the borwser. However, wehen compiling a new method the current systemOrganizer was not modified. I browsed a bit around without really finding what I wanted. Does anybody knows if SystemOrganization is directly? Apparently I also made a confusion between SystemOrganizer and Smalltalk. I was wondering why I should work in a different namespace, environment (Smalltalk) and not in a different SystemOrganizer? Well, I removed the current version of the plugin, and it happily detects that I'm on a Mac (while I am on Linux in fact). Replacing "mac" with "linux" in the resulting URL gives me a Linux page with the message "click on the image to download the plugin". Doing that, I'm redirected to a "notyet" page :-(. Anyway, I managed to get a number of the projects going directly from Squeak with Project class>>fromUrl:, but the one I'm most interested in (the introduction for elementary school - AATopLevelProject) hangs Squeak immediately upon loading (both 2.8 and 3.0 VM's with all the updates for 3.1); the second-most interesting project (Animations) has all the subprojects behind a password-protected FTP URL... Subscripts and Superscripts

Are subscripts and superscripts supported. I had a look in Text and could see the the instance variables subscript and superscript, but I could not see how to use them. thanks in advance for any responses Keith

The general feeling seems to be that this may be a hardware issue with the iPaq itself. The discussion about this was rather recent...perhaps if you search the mailing list archives on handhelds.org it might help you get to the bottom of this? latest and greatest iPAQ Squeak?

Hi-- So, what's the latest and greatest Squeak system for the iPAQ 3600 series, and where can I get all the bits (build environment and image/changes/sources)? I'm interested to know how the Linux and WinCE versions stack up now performance-wise... I checked the "Squeak on the iPaq" page (http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/squeak/1719), but it makes references to reasonability.net which seem to have gone stale. I'm willing to provide web space for bits cited (to replace my old 2.8-era stuff at http://netjam.org/smalltalk/sources/wince/ipaq.zip and http://netjam.org/smalltalk/sources/wince/squeakCE.zip). I had to change the User Agent string that my browser sent to look like Netscape 4.76 before I could see anything other than the "oops" screen when I selected "download". Perhaps the browser sniffing could be made aware of other Linux browsers, including Opera and Konqueror. Or maybe if the browser sniffing didn't work you could get a choice (this would make more sense, wouldn't it?).
