[BUG]? Transformation Morphs

I get the same results as with BOBTransformationMorph. That is, the Morph appears, but I can't get halos. Now, I'm not at all sure what these Morphs actually do (but popping them up from the menu and playing with them would seem a way to try and find out). Yet their behaviour seems a mite wierd. SqueakFoundation public FTP server

Hi, As Swiki's are (currently) unfit for the distribution of big files (no restart, for starters), I have setup a public FTP server at ftp.squeakfoundation.org (name is new so if you cannot resolve it, try again tomorrow). If people want to upload content, they can do so in /incoming - I'll try to think up a sensible directory structure for the thing (comments appreciated :-)). At the moment the server is totally empty. I'll try to setup mirroring of some well-known Squeak-related FTP servers in the coming days so the basic content one can expect will be there. Balloon3D Question

Hi, Can I use Balloon3d to set blending modes ? I'm looking for a multiplicative blend mode (source*dest) for lightmapping. I'm having fun playing with lightmapping and I'd like to take advantage of hardware support if Balloon3d has it. I think I have to use Balloon.. BitBlt & friends don't have the blend mode i'm looking for. If I should be using another approach, let me know! Thanks, Eddie

Screen size help wanted!

Hello, I'm doing a project and I'd like my project area to extend beyond the screen size like Sketchpad was supposed to do. Is there any way I can do this ? I don't see any options. Regards, Gary

Help with error needed

Hello, While using a line morph specified as <----> following the menu items fill style > gradient fill I got a red rectangle with a yellow x in the middle. I don't know how to get rid of this red rectangle because I can't get a halo up for it. Any tips ? Also from the new Morph menu I selected TransformationB2Morph. As a result I got the Dialog box that reads Error: Error: subscript is out of bounds: 1 Then I get a red rectangle with the yellow cross in the middle. Then, through the new menu I selected TransformationMorph and Squeak just seized up. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Gary

load code updates question

O.K., I realize I'm new to Squeak, but this is just odd. I am having problems with the "load code updates" option (see so titled e-mail to list). Being a person to try everything, for the hell of it, I tried again, and this time, instead of "Squeak Public Updates", I tried "European Squeak Updates", and that worked. What gives? Are these two not the same? I had assumed that they were, with one being in the US, and the other for European users.

If I abandon the debugger I get the red rectangle (and the halos) so I can kill the morph. But it does look like something wierd is going on there. So I'm posting as a bug. 3.1a 4282 on SuSE 6.4 (built from Lex's sources). Cheers John -- Can't cope anymore? Desperate for help?
