[BUG][FIX]MouseMoveEvtStartPos-ar

Change by Andreas Raab." To observe this bug, execute "HandMorph showEvents: true" and observe the starting point for mouse moves. Its usually wrong - most of the time, start point = end point. It makes much more sense after the patch. The change makes sense to me. startPosition is now set to the hand's current position. Since the hand hasn't yet been moved in response to the event being formed, it makes sense that the hand's current position will the the starting point for the next mouse move event. Someone should see if this helps/hurts Genie - Genie uses the start position for mouse moves. I'm suprised it would work at all given the old, broken behavior. Thanks, Eddie

[BUGFIX] Point>>reciprocal

I have a simple Morph structure: SlideRM(BorderedMorph) TransformMorphRM(TransformMorph) SlideInnerRM(PasteUpMorph) The Transform scale was aPoint. I got error when computing the inverse transform because Point does not understand reciprocal, see attached bug report. A simple fix could be a new method to Point: reciprocal " Answer a Point with coordinates that are the reciprocals of mine. " " Method was missing from release. Hi Folks, You read right, I'm going to talk about vaporware ;-). Well, not quite in fact, as some of you might on their computers something close to what I'd like to do, albeit in a different area : iTunes. Specifically, I have played a bit with iTunes' "smart playlists", and I think something similar could be implemented for browsing code in squeak (the concept is not quite new in fact, these playlists are just requests to a database in disguise, such as "select all songs form artist X longer than 5 minutes that I have rated 4 stars of more"). You could then perform requests such as : -tests : select all methods from package X, starting with "test" -non-tests : select all methods from package X, except those in "tests" -tested : select all methods in "non-tests", who are sent by methods in "tests" -hierarchy : select all methods from class X's hierarchy -recent : select the 50 latest methods accepted -private : select all methods from class C only sent by methods in C -protected : select all methods from class X only sent methods in C's hierarchy -public : select all methods in class X who are not in "private" or "protected" -undocumented : select all classes who's comment is nonexistant ;-) The interface could be the one of a message list, maybe stealing iTunes' browser, which looks really a lot like a smalltak browser already ;-). I think this kind of tool is currently missing as it could allow a much faster navigation in the system, as there is a lot of information that could be used this way. Regular browsers, or stacked code panes like Whisker's ones could then be used to actually edit code ;-). What do you think of that ? Romain

[FIX] ContextJumpCleanup-ajh

The attached changeset cleans up some code with respect to Context return and jump. I recommend that this goes into 3.7. [ENH] FileListFileOpenFix-nk v2 ( Can not install this fix )

with a 3.7b and 5923 updates, plus MC, BFAV-1570fbs.mcs, I go to install the three cs associated with this fix. install first one successfully, go to install second one and get the following walkback Error: PatchArchiveAttachments are not indexable I have tried various install orders, but it appears that once i install any of these 3 cs's, I can not install any other. I have also experienced this problem with earlier versions eg with update 5905.

After much staring at code I hope never to see again I believe that the actual test for simpleTestOuter is broken rather than the exception code. Debug highlighting question

I've been running 3.5 for awhile now, and am just starting to play with 3.6. I've noticed a difference in the debugger. In 3.5, I could have "browseWithPrettyPrint" turned on, and everything was just nifty. But in 3.6, when I have "browseWithPrettyPrint" turned on, the debugger tries to highlight the code as if the pretty printer was *not* turned on. This makes the debugger completely worthless unless I turn pretty printing off. And, since the debugger is an absolute necessity, the debugger trumps the pretty-printer, thus making the pretty printer worthless. What happened? Anybody know? HTML Parsing & Scamper

Hello there, I have a copule of simple questions. I am using the 3.7 beta image. 1. I need to parse an html page. I've seen some examples on the net using the method "HTMLParser parse:". Hence, Iinstalled the package HTML-Parser on SqueakMap. But I could not get it to work, particullarly I believe that the method /parse/ is deprecated. I tryied using the method "parseDocumentFrom:" but I could not get it to work either. Can anyone send me a clue or a quick example of working code that parses a simple HTML page? 2. I've also tryied installing Scamper, but was unable to us it as well. Curiosely I get the error message "doesNotUnderstand: #parse".
