Looks like the same general idea, but I can assure you they're not related. The entire exobox project is sitting on about 6 DLT tapes in a box in my home office. The company is in a box in a closet at ideaLab! in Pasadena. The venture capitalists are hopefully in another box, burning in hell.

Yow, the price! $1700 is a bunch to be asking for in this economy. exobox was working on the basis of $500 machines back when $500 was toy money. Still it is at least ARM powered, so maybe there is some hope .
