Hi all,
i'm looking for the debian package source for Squeak 3.0. Debian binary packages (made by Markus Denker) seems to be available, but i can't find the source one. Where are they ?
I think I have them and got them by asking Markus.
I'm not completely sure who's doing the debian packages now or what their status is. I see occasional discussions on the debian lists about it, and I thought I saw someone else saying they were taking over. But they may have run into licensing issues, since I don't see the packages listed in the debian archives.

Hi!
Stephen Stafford stephen@clothcat.demon.co.uk has taken over the Debian Packages. He intended to add them to Debian, but this was not possible because of license problems... (see the other discussion) The packages used to be at
http://people.debian.org/~bagpuss/squeak-debs/
But I can't find them...
My latest debs ( and source) are at http://www.ira.uka.de/~marcus/deb, but they are out of date (Stephen did some newer improved packages).
(I'm forwarding this to Stephen)

Sorry this has taken me a while. I have a huge backlog of mail at the moment which I am slowly slogging through :)
The debs were removed from klecker.debian.org (people.debian.org) a couple of months ago due to space restrictions and the fact that machine is in the US.
I lost my own copies of the packages in a hard drive failure recently. Maybe somebody somewhere has copies?
I am quite busy with sysadmin-guide just now, but perhaps when that lifts slightly I may find the time to redo the debs. If Squeak ever gets relicensed I will certianly redo them and upload them to the Debian archive.
Cheers,
