MouseEvent>>noticeMouseOver: aMorph source ifNotNil: [source noticeMouseOver: aMorph event: self] is a bug. The Ivar source refers to a hand object. noticeMouseOver: is a selector only for MouseEvent not for hand objects.
It avoided detection because it is never sent. The fix is to remove it from the system.

But for it to be a fix to a bug that we can review and issue as a update for the update stream it has to be a change set, even if it's a small one just removing a method.
