Hi Ned,
I think now it's my turn to say "thank you very much" for such a quick response. I will definetly look into it.The thing with such an addition is that it shouldn't be optional, because the greates gain would be for the newbie. We seasoned Squeakers do know where to find the debug logs and where to find the list to mail it to. It offers "just" abit of conveinience, which is great, but for the newbie this might make the crucial difference. One thing though: would it be possible for the list maintainers to somehow tag messages that were sent by non-list-members so that a) The sender can easily detect possible configuration errors (this has bitten some of us already and the only sign was usually a long delay before own messages arrive on the list) b) the people ansering a bug report are reminded to include the original sender in reply to make sure he gets the answer

"Change Set: MailDebug-nk Date: 10 November 2002 Author: Ned Konz
This change set adds a 'Mail bug report' button to the debug notifier window. It has a hook for later addition of other recpient names (perhaps from a initials->email lookup somewhere), but right now just mails to the list. "!
