With John's suggestions I've rebuild a new mac package with the newest VM and the plugins in ftp://st.cs.uiuc.edu/Smalltalk/Squeak/3.2/mac.
Someone want to give it a try?

I try on Mac 9.1 OS and have the same problems what before. Not could use .mp3 files edited outside of Squeak (and what work fine in other software). When I grab a PasteUpMorph ,and a TTSampleStringMorph, saving the composite morph, later loading cause this error. The attachment file show what happened Also when create Morphs with many elements. This error is on my Mac an also on PC with Windows NT. Any ideas ?

I think you can copy restoreEndianness from ShortIntegerArray. However, there's still a problem: when you read it back in, the characters are rotated.

Well, I copy the restoreEndianness method to MatrixTransform2x3 class and the problem gone!!! Very thanks Ned, I think if not cause other problems, you could post your advice in a FIX
