Hi all--
Well, I was able to start the system with the bulk image read happening from a memory-mapped file view instead of a regular file handle. But when I tried to stop using a separate heap space altogether I ran into trouble in readImageFromFileHeapSizeStartingAt(). In the translated code for loadInitialContext, I get an address for sched that is below memStart. I suppose something went wrong in initializeObjectMemory(); something didn't get shifted properly?
Hopefully, one of you can figure it out.
My modifications are at http://netjam.org/smalltalk/sources/wince/memoryMapping.zip.
thanks,
-C
