Ack! em, sorry, I mislead you. I don't, at this moment, have a clue what to do with that sort of dump, maybe Hannan can, or some experienced VM hacker.
I was talking about a Squeak debug.log file, if there is one, so I can see what Smalltalk code is causing the problems, and maybe figure out why...
About the Spaghetti tracer, the SM description (package, nor version level) has something preliminary. If you try that out and let me know what you think, maybe I can expand on it.
I will soon continue working on it, and might have something thats better as a demo or actual usable UI tool, but it might still take a while.

Hi Daniel ,
Did you get a dump or something?
No log file, no crash dump, no DNU, the Squeak window is even properly refreshed, the VM Preferences menus are still accessible. The progress bar for " Loading refactory into Changeset 'Refactory' " moves a little bit then sitting there. 'Alt- .' doesn't work, but , aha, the second try crashed Squeak. Now we have a crash dump. And it is now attached. Thanks for RB, Daniel. Cheers, PhiHo. P.S: Can you give us a tutorial on your Spaghetti Tracer.

Did you get a dump or something?
I haven't gotten around to trying out VI4, so I haven't tested the RB on it. It uses blocks, including calling fixTemps on them, since it sometimes assumes the blocks are closures. Might cause a problem that they suddenly are?
When did the hand occur? during use, or during filein?
Do you have a recipe that reproduces this? if you do, I'll load VI4 and check it out.

Hi Göran,
Everything works like a charm now. Thanks. Except when I tried to install RefactoringBrowser into VI4 image. Squeak hung .Other packages were installed OK. Is it just me and my machine ?. Cheers, PhiHo.

Hi Phiho and all!
Quoting PhiHo Hoang phiho.hoang@rogers.com:
Daniel,
Is http://anakin.bluefish.se:8000/gohu/11 down now ? Cheers, PhiHo.
I just saw it myself - weird, the machine was up but ComSwiki had
"hung".
I just restarted it - try again, it works for me now.
Hmmm, will need to publish my downloads in a more stable way than
ComSwiki
obviously...
regards, Göran
