I just noticed there were still references to some of my old "Ma time
objects" classes in 1.0r40gamma3.  I'm pretty surprised no one
mentioned this!  I thought Monticello would warn me if I tried to load
code which had no defined class, but it doesn't.  So I used Lint to
find occurrences of "References an undeclared variable" and removed
them.

It also includes some improvements to make the network test cases more
platform independent, so launching images on Linux works without
needing to change code.

Release is imminent, please let me know of any final issues asap.
