PS: I agree that we need a good name for this tool, and that "Objects Tool" is *not* such a good name. Suggestions welcome!
I think of it as a launch pad so maybe 'morph launch pad'
How about (well behaved)'morph launcher'?
Incidentally, I still think "Classic NewMorphMenu" should be the _default_ preference as it's the win/win (object tool and old style menu) option.
PPS: Note that whether or not you can find a particular morph in the Objects tool, you can always obtain a sample instance of any morph class directly from a Browser or MessageSet -- just select the class you want, and then choose "sample instance" from the shifted class-list or shifted selector-list menu. This feature has been present in the system for a year and a half, though I don't believe I've ever seen evidence of anyone having noticed it.
Thanks Scott. It is pretty well hidden! I'll pop your text in a workspace so I can remember how to use it/find it!
I use it all the time, it's a convenient shortcut to get instances without typing.
Cheers
