Hi students,
Please take five minutes to respond to these questions:
1) what did you do in the past week? 2) what do plan to do this week? 3) what can possibly stand in the way of your work?
Ciao,
Giovanni

Hi students,
Please take five minutes to respond to these questions:
- what did you do in the past week?
Added a layer to perform cut/copy/paste operations. It basically proofs the possible text-interactions (in terms of e.g. highlighting and behavior) between the model and the UI.
- what do plan to do this week?
Refactor layers and commands to make commands self-contained, as discussed with my mentor.
Restyle code as suggested by my mentor.
Update the documentation about the design (3/4 uml diagrams)
- what can possibly stand in the way of your work?
I'd like to code some scripts using the refactoring browser to refactor some wrong patterns into their fixed form. I hope to learn quickly how to use it.

If you do, please write something on the blog! I'd definitely be interested in some docs on the rewrite engine in Squeak.

- what did you do in the past week?
- Implement logging - Improve administration of the different functionality - Realise that Freenode has a strict anti-flood policy that needs to be taken into consideration
- what do plan to do this week?
- implement a IRC library that take care of the flooding and test it on freenode - start the web interface
- what can possibly stand in the way of your work?
- maybe issues with the irc library... - a juggling convention on tuesday

Hi,
- what did you do in the past week?
- it was more a week where I learned how the inference engine work as the Java classes are quite complex (only five classes with about 15method each, but all static and huge, long... see all *Rule*.java classes here http://open-nars.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/nars/inference/). I have so far no idea how to deal better with them. I'm waiting another week to see options and understand better. I'll blog/ask about that soon.
- I started that page: http://www.squeakside.com/seaside/pier/OpenNARS/Big+Pictures+NARS to understand better . I have some variation for question (no goal for now).
-I've made some fixes and a seaside component to test TruthValue (http://www.squeakside.com/seaside/pier/OpenNARS/TruthValue+Tests)
- what do plan to do this week?
- implement sentence - (CompoundTerm(subset), then sentence and subclasses(first level)) - think and discuss about the inference engine implementation (a post is open there: http://groups.google.com/group/open-nars/browse_thread/thread/e55e6e115126bd...)
See you all...
