Hi students,
The midterm evaluation period has started today. You have until Monday, July 14th, 19:00 UTC to complete your evaluation. For more information, see this page:
http://groups.google.com/group/google-summer-of-code-announce/web/midterm-su...
I'd like to stress that completion on the survey is required in order to receive the next payment from Google.
The survey shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. Please take five additional minutes to respond to the usual questions, too:
1) what did you do in the past week? 2) what do plan to do this week? 3) what can possibly stand in the way of your work?
Yet again, I'd like for you to post something on the blog instead of replying on the mailing list. (Seriously guys, let's bring some life to that blog!)
Ciao,
Giovanni

- what do plan to do this week?
I'll try to developed a new inspector tool and a browser

Hi GSoCers,
Cedrick+me have an appointment this week for doing the mid term evaluation (and reserved a 2nd date if things happen).
Just wanted to let you know and also to do one bit against the usual silence in this list ;)
Cheers, Klaus

I developed a first prototype for the GUI and integrated with the model. At this stage, Safarà is able to act as a plain ASCII editor.

Make autoscrolling work. Write on the blog. Implement some simple command.
- what can possibly stand in the way of your work?
It is difficult (for me) to understand how scrolling works in Morphic (the collaboration between Paragraph, TextMorphForEditView, PluggableTextMorph, etc. is not so easy). Perhaps I will look for a custom solution and I will get rid of TextMorph (which I use at this stage), which has to more features than I need.

I'm interested in your work. Where is your blog?

I don't have a personal blog. I just blogged on http://blog.summer.squeak.org/
Nice :) a mac :) pay attention _ is deprecated use := and again ask questions in squeak-dev. I know that there are some really good morphic hackers in there that can help you.
