[Is there any reason why #sort and its associated machinery couldn't be in SequenceableCollection rather than ArrayedCollection?]

I Know may be this is'nt the place for this but ....may be somebody can give me advice. My system is MacOS 10.1 All my mail messages which contains an attachment or corrupted...in the sense that the body and the attachment of these messages have been changed and replaced by the body and the attachment of one message, always the same. So all my message from Squeak list with attachments are lost...this make a lot of them.. I ran Norton Antivirus for the Macintosh 4 times with the last virus definition with the result 'No problems were found' So somebody can give me advise ?

Release 3.1 or 3.2?

Folks - I am now "clearing my desk" prefatory to finally getting Henrik's Modules out (sorry, I just got swamped a month ago). One thing that remains to be completed is to release 3.1, but as I reflect on this, I wonder if we mightn't just put 3.2 into gamma status, let people beat on it for a week, and release THAT instead. Here are some reasons: It has a bunch of cool new stuff not in 3.1 It seems pretty stable If has if anything more fixes than 3.1 right now We are (honest ;-) about to enter a real test-pilot period I don't care a lot one way or the other, but I think this would be a bit less work for me as well. How to make the decision? Well, assume I've decided to do this, and only send mail if you are strongly opposed. If no one complains in the next day or two, that's what I'll do. Thanks - Dan

MPW complained about a missing jpeglib.h I downloaded a package from the independent jpeg group's ftp http://www.ijg.org/files/jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz This package includes a jpeglib.h. But MPW still complains about a missing jconfig.h file. This file was not in the package I downloaded. Do I need to build the jpeg library to compile this plugin? Seems like I would need CodeWarrior to build the jpeg library on a mac. Karl

Hi, Squeakers. I just uploaded SoapOpera0.2b (maintenance release). It runs on Squeak3.x. Easy to install. Enjoy! http://www.mars.dti.ne.jp/~umejava/smalltalk/soapOpera/index.html Please note that SoapOpera0.2 is a kind of "toy" SOAP. It does not support SOAP encoding. So you can only use it for Squeak-to-Squeak communication. (not to other SOAP implementations). You might be better to wait for SoapOpera0.5. It will support SOAP encoding.
