Delta streams status (was Re: monticello question)

Is there a blog some where that shows the status of Delta streams? I haven't heard anything in a while about those and I'm very interested in how it turns out. squeak releases, now and in the future

Hi all, I think we are at the anniversary of the start of the six month timebox for 3dot10. I am watching a lot of interesting developments. Damiens efforts seem to have become squeak's flagship. And VPRI has found resources and interest in developing squeaklands branch of 3.8 and OPLC. As for our squeak-org branch, it seems to me the basic maintenence and releases of squeak are in neglect. My druthers are that time boxes get honored. That future release teams be sought. And that the current release be wrapped up and delivered, lessons learned and new development planned for. Where do we go from here?* What endevors are worthwhile? What resources are available for future efforts? Smalltalk Scientific Publication Action

Hi all as announced at Lugano ESUG is putting in place new action to promote the use of smalltalk http://www.esug.org/promotionactions/publicationpromotion/ PublicationPromotion ESUG offers 150 Euros for each international conference paper whose concepts involves an implementation in Smalltalk Rules • After notification of acceptance, one of the authors sends to the ESUG board the article, a CV, and a brief explanation of how Smalltalk was used • In case the ESUG board decides to support the promotion, the author has to send to ESUG after the camera-ready deadline a PDF of the article, where ESUG is referenced in the acknowledgment section, including a link to esug.org • During the presentation at the conference, the author must mention ESUG support • After the presentation at the conference the author sends to ESUG a PDF version of the slides, where there is a visible reference to ESUG (e.g. theESUG Logo). Publishing Projects continues forever

Hello, when publishing projects on a local disk some of them keep publishing forever while most publish normally. Alt dot only brings me into the code of the animation. Changing Fonts to Century Gothic

I'm trying to make a script to personalize each of my images. First, I'm with the fonts (later will install the packages, but this is other history). I change some fonts with setSystemFontTo: but seems not to work. The Font is Century Ghotic, and I don't know if the problem is the space in the Font Name or probably I'm very stupid to see the error. Removing things

I am attempting to unload things from the image. SystemNavigation allObjectDo: gets upset, when one of its objects turns out to be an instance of ProtoObject subclass: MessageCatcher. does anyone have any idea how this might come about? I am performing " Installer unload: 'Universes'. " in 3.10 Keith

Cryptography load order assumptions

To whom it may concern, The cryptography package is unwittingly assuming that its classes are going to be loaded in a specific order and that the call to class #initialize is going to be preformed in that order. I have recently changed MC1.5 to run its calls to class #initialize in a sightly different way and it breaks convincingly. I am on irc #squeak if anyone wants to discuss it... cheers Keith

Monticello currently allows a comment for the entire saved set. Would it make sense to (also) allow comments directly on each of the changed elements? (Fancier would be user-defined groupings of the changed elements) - Sophie

CurrentProjectRefactoring deprecated

I am looking to knock up a change set to remove CurrentProjectRefactoring from 3.10 as part of the LevelPlayingField "Clean" script. In doing so there are references to context:isolationHead: elsewhere in the image. Since CurrentProjectRefactoring is the only user of this, is it safe to remove or are their other uses for #isolationHead. thanks in advance Keith
