As I said in one of my earlier posts, probably more than half of the time I spent working on the Interval web browser was spent making it deal with bad HTML.
And the example was actually valid HTML 3.2. It's just that you have to add logic for omitted end tags like </td> and </tr>.
It gets much worse when there's errors...
