Not really. Using GNU Smalltalk just because it prints the result of every statement separately, I get:
st> 0.2.3.4.5.6 0.2 3.4 5.6 st>
Braces are not a problem in this case.
I would be in favor of only accepting . as a statement separator if it is followed by whitespace, but I would rather see other dialects do the same.
