[MC] Disabling overrides?

Hi Folks - I just screwed myself so unbelievably badly by running into all the evilness of using overrides in Monticello that I'm starting to believe in ripping them out of MC alltogether. As a first step, I'd like (just for my own sanity) to disable them in a way that makes override categories behave just like regular extension categories (e.g., both marking the original package as dirty and not trying to restore anything when loaded). What's the easiest way to achieve that? Thanks, - Andreas

Multiple images in the same directory

Hi, I would like to know if there is any problem with keeping different images from different squeak versions (3.8 and 3.9 for example) in the same directory. Is there any problem with sm/ or package-cache/ ? Thanks

SUnit coverage information?

Hi - Is there any variant of TestRunner (or anything else based on the SUnit framework) which spits out coverage information for the code being executed via some test case (either classes, methods, lines, bytecodes etc)? If so, where can I find it? Thanks, - Andreas

CR LF Problem in Windows XP

All, On WinXP Image: Squeak 3.8-6665 dir := FileDirectory default. (fileStream := dir fileNamed: 'test.txt') ascii. fileStream nextPutAll: 'a\b' withCRs. fileStream flush; close. I get in bytes in hex 61 OD 62. I need 61 OA OD 62. I wanted to make sure that this is a bug and not just me doing something wrong. Is there a proper way to get this to work? BookMorph prompt

Is Sophie a candidate to replace the role of BookMorph within the Morphic environment? I've not seen any contextual mention of Morphic when I've looked for info about Sophie, so is it meaningful to suggest that Sophie will fit in there? Or if it is meaningful, is there any analysis about the what, the when, the who and the how? In the meantime the Morphic/EToys end of things needs to be kept tidy, as was the original point this topic title. (The bug is not a thing I could easilty fix, so I have to ask.) Thanks - I have now discoverd how to submit a bug report! I don't fully understand the implications of the discussion about Sophie. Are Tweak and Sophie intended to be fully integrated in to Squeak releases, or will they be treated as add-ons? Will Morphic Supplies look the same, or will they have to change? About the #logChange error in SqueakMap

Hi: About the problem http://bugs.impara.de/view.php?id=2912, that I've documented a workaround at http://bugs.impara.de/view.php?id=3283 I want to ask how many time may take to be fixed. Sorry If I don't know deeper the fix related process, but this case is really widely spread (arise in any opprtunity when a user want to update SqueakMap) and really easy to solve (only patching the method not using the deprecated one).
