iOS web browser that doesn't automatically reload pages?

Hi all-- I've been developing Caffeine[1] into a usable environment on mobile devices. The biggest problem I have now is that iOS Safari reloads web pages after switching to another app, with no opportunity to make a snapshot to the web browser's storage. Has anyone encountered a sideloaded[2] web browser that doesn't do this? (All the web browsers in the Apple app store are just repackagings of Safari, as per Apple fiat.) The basic tool for this is called an Inspector. Whenever you have an expression, like "3 + 4", you press cmd-i to "inspect it", which opens an inspector on the result. This works in any text area. Try for example inspecting "self" in a class browser, and you will inspect the underlying class object (which the browser shows a high-level view of). SqueakSSL primitiveSSLCreate >> fails

primitiveSSLCreate is failing on my Win 7 computer. It occurs in new and older images. I am working on a different wifi network than usual, which might explain the problem, but I don't know where to look for solutions. There was also a new Windows update pushed out to my computer today. Any ideas? Thanks, jrm
