[Etoys][5.2a][Testing] Where do I get a random number tile?

Hello I understand that that instead of a random number tile a general function tile should be used and 'random' should then be selected as the function. I wonder where from which category I get the general function tile. I also found a helper script which gives me a backword compatible random number tile, see screen shot. FunctionTile randomNumberTile openInHand However the main question is: How do I get a random number tile set up from _within_ etoys. Kind regards Hannes

#adoptInstance: bug?

Hi All, I recently found a bug(?) with #adoptInstance: (primitive 160). If you create a variable class, let's call it A, and a subclass of it, B, where B has an instance variable called foo, then B adoptInstance: (A new: 1) will fail with error code #'bad receiver', which is fine, because B needs more slots than A, but A adoptInstance: (B new: 1) will succeed. The resulting object will have 2 indexable slots instead of 1, because the instance variable will be converted to an indexable slot. Is this the expected behavior? Monticello Package Rename Policy

Hi All, Hi Bert, if one tries to rename a modified package in the Monticello browser one is told one can only rename unmodified packages. Why? AFAICS it should "just work". What am I missing? _,,,^..^,,,_ best, Eliot
