MC Merge browser: 'Accept same source' button considered harmful

Does anyone like to go around and change the format of other peoples code and nothing else? I consider this inconsiderate to my peers and I'm sure most around here do, as well. So does anyone know why in the world we this crazy button tacked onto the end of the MC Merge browser? Every time I have a merge conflict, this button rears its ugly head and forces me to reckon with it. Not only is it incongruous with the rest of the buttons, but totallly wrongheaded for how we respect each others work, resulting in unpleasant thoughts and experience every time I see it. Please tell us WHY you are doing it. So does anyone know? I think we should remove it and I cringe to wonder how many original works we lost to it... :(

[RELEASE] How 5.2 is going

I have a .image which I setup at the beginning of 5.2 life and update and run test. This is the today result. One crash about secure sockets and one unexpected UI change. No idea why a test should end in a change of how a user like see his .image, but sure a very good reason behind. The errors seems concentrate in SSL and DoubleWordArray. Winter comes to South and is time to start to finish, don't you think ? Edgar @morplenauta

Folks: We have a very powerful tool in Mantis at http://bugs.squeak.org/. For a lot of misfortunes at some time we don't use it or not use as should be. Lucky us still 5.2 have a very power how to query it inside. If you do: |date | date := (DateAndTime fromString: ' 2008-01-01T00:00'). Installer mantis bugsAll select: [ :ea | (ea date < date) = false & ((ea array at: 7) = 'crash') & ((ea array at: 2) = 'Squeak')]. And explore the report You learn still we have 31 reported crashes.
