Hello,
I am on the train back to Berne tommorrow, to arrive around 19:30 local time (which should be the CET) at a spot with internet connection. And then I need to get IRC to work... so I might be a bit late.
Marcus
How do I use IRC on a Mac? (i.e., what app do I run)
Andrew

I recommend Colloquy ( http://www.colloquy.info ), but Linux- originated clients (x-chat, etc.) work fine as well.

I installed Colloquy. But it seems to support the notion of "rooms" rather than "channels". Are they the same? Does the room name include the # symbol? Or am I confused?

I'm sitting here in colloquy, but don't know how to make it talk to anyone.
Perhaps someone will call me and give me directions?
Ah, I found a hidden console — it was rejecting my Nickname, but not telling me ... I'm now ProfAndrew.
But I still don't see anyone.

19:00 CET
is CET valid for Paris? I have an english lecture at that time....:) I can try to follow with the wifi :)
Now I would like also that we discuss after the other projects that we want to propose to the esug board. The ideas there is that ESUG will sponsor up to 5 projects and it would be interesting to propose them some topics. I was thinking to propose a topic on st exupery, strongtalk but the right candidates should be found.
The idea is that the esug board will have an internal ranking and shortly announce the project to be sponsored.

We decided if there was any need to change the five selected apps, found none, then closed the discussion.
Then two hours later, one of the selected students contacts me saying that he has to resign since he's found a full time job, so now we're back to step one :(
