Hello,
I tried to start the Context image, but failed.
What I've done is:
git clone 'https://github.com/ccrraaiigg/context.git'
context/context.app/Contents/RUNME/linux/context.sh
The output is:
START /usr/bin/firefox "http://localhost:8090/README.html"
(process:8349): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion
'sys_page_size == 0' failed
A new browser tab shows up with the address:
"http://localhost:8090/README.html", but no page appears (the "cannot
connect" error page).
Also the program stops after showing the lines above.
Am I doing anything wrong? Thank you for any help.
Mateusz
Hoi--
I've released Context 4 alpha 1. This one fixes loading errors in
the welcome page, supports remote debugging and process browsing, and
makes Naiad and remote messaging support available as Monticello
packages. Thanks in advance for reporting bugs!

I'm around on the #context channel on squeak.slack.com for live
discussion.
thanks!

Hi all--
We did it! Today, on James Robertson’s birthday, David Buck and I
have released episode one of “Smalltalk Reflections”, a podcast about
Smalltalk. Our first episode is a tribute to James, who started the
previous incarnation of the show. It’s hosted by David and myself, and
features remembrances from several friends and co-workers, as well as a
few choice words from the man himself. I edited it, and wrote the theme
music. Enjoy!

Great! That's all I'm trying to verify in the field on all
platforms at the moment.
thanks,

Congratulations on beta 5. I tried it on Ubuntu. FYI, I got a couple
of strange messages when unzipping about a couple of the files in
there. Then i simply cd'd into the "Linux" folder and ran ./start.sh.
I think I saw a wiindow open briefly, but it was quickly covered by a
new browser window that opened n
http://localhost:8090/memories/development%20environment/resume. It
had the banner page and text describing itself as a Spoon object
memory.
Clicking on anything told me the standard "Oops! Google Chrome could
not connect to localhost:8090", moving the browser window away to
expose the background terminal window, I found the following.
(terminal output follows)
Created new window in existing browser session.
