Hi Bert,
I have followed http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Etoys_RPM_and_XO_bundle and it worked in etoys side. But when making squeak rpm, I got this error message.
----- takashi@localhost:~/src/.../source/squeak% ./makerpm make: *** No rule to make target `dist-src'. Stop. cp: cannot stat `dist/Squeak-3.9-11.src.tar.gz': No such file or directory error: File /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/Squeak-3.9-11.src.tar.gz: No such file or di rectory cp: cannot create regular file `rpms/squeak-vm-3.9-11olpc4test.spec': No such fi le or directory ./makerpm: line 21: cd: rpms: No such file or directory cp: cannot stat `/usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/squeak-vm-3.9-11olpc4test.i386.rpm': No such file or directory cp: cannot stat `/usr/src/redhat/SRPMS/squeak-vm-3.9-11olpc4test.src.rpm': No such file or directory press return to commit to svn -----
I was impressed a lot of Makefile magic! Anyway. What is a proper way for testing a .xo file? maybe make xotest?
Cheers, - Takashi
Oh, you're right. This is missing Ian's dist-utils which are not in SVN.
Ian, is it okay to check these in?
