I'd like to see SqF have a decent supply of money so that it can actually _do_ things. Things like offer help to students to get to OOPSLA or SqueakEnds, run an active website (even though Cees is providing the machine support, it really needs a lot of work to keep a website vital and that will usually require some money), pay me a decent salary, have a nice display at suitable conferences/shows, etc.
Even, with a _large_ amount of money, actually be the body employing Alan et al. Remember, Disney is no longer providing the money to support the core group of people whose full time effort has produced a significant fraction of this delightful artifact we all enjoy.
