The uiuc ftp site has pretty much moved over to ftp.squeak.org now, also. At least www.squeak.org now points to ftp.squeak.org.
Huh, ok. I hadn't noticed that but it makes sense. Would be smart to update the UIUC site to make that obvious to casual callers then; update the README at least since it dates from 1999 ..
