Oh. Is that a new problem that's cropped up since the 4.4 release?

The issue I mailed about just the other day on squeak-dev: I took a clean 4.5, ripped out Nebraska, Universes & XML-Parser. Then the ReleaseSqueakTrunk re-added the package. However, the performance scripts - which use XML-Parser - break because AnObsoleteXmlWriter doesn't understand anything. So my unloading of the package was insufficient somehow.

Sorry, which issue? Whatever it is, if it creates bad state then why
isn't
the offending package removed or corrected in trunk?

I noticed we did not have any 4.5 alpha version available for
download.
A clean update from the 4.4 release to the current 4.5 alpha is now available at http://ftp.squeak.org/4.5alpha.
PS -- I accidentally also uploaded .image and .changes but no permissions to delete them. Could someone from box-admins do that or add me to the "updates" group and then I can do it?
12568 might have bad state because of the issue I reported on squeak-dev. The latest one I'd trust is 12653, for the moment.
