I believe after the "?" in the URL. The specific key that is created for the seaside session? Ken can tell you more. Ken?
Do you mean that the generated URLs should be www.squeakfoundation.org/xxxx and not www.squeak.org:7780/xxxx? If so, I don't know how to fix it, but I can research it. I seem to recall that coming up in the Seaside list several times in the last 2 years or so.
Yeah, Nevin Pratt just sent a msg about redirection. No answer though.
Let me know...

We originally wanted to move the old squeakfoundation image to box2 under a new domain name: www.squeakfoundation.org. The current SqF content has been copied over to it and it's ready to go and be updated by the SqF team. The Pier image is on box2 and in /home/website/SqueakFoundation/images/SqF-Pier-1.5.image. The service is running on port 7780 (see /home/website/SqueakFoundation/serviceSqF/run). You can see it running at: http://www.squeak.org:7780/seaside/SqF
However, we have a problem. The problem is that the URLs generated don't look correct. I set the "Server Hostname" and "Server Port" and that seemed to make a difference a bit. But, Ken believes the resulting URLs are wrong. Also, I did this at the same time Ken did something else on the apache side. So, I reset these so we could do it right.
Ken mentioned that this problem has been identified and fixed before. Jason: you may be the person to save us! Can you help us out?

Did you look at this page http://www.seasidehosting.st/?_k=zKHxIpoj&_s=VpSmqUXKBaBRBjdW It has a FAQ about seaside.

Let's take a step back, I think we are confusing the issue.
Fundamentally all this is needed is for the Squeakfoundation site to be accessible from
without any further path information like /seaside/SqF/.
I can take care of the rest.
Jason: Either you or whoever put together the original image for www.squeak.org did just this. Although I don't suppose you were using Pier in which case maybe this is not exactly the same thing but I should think it is very similar since Pier is built on Seaside (isn't it?).
Well there is one other thing:
There is no reason for Pier/Seaside to be generating full canonical URLs for it's internal links like
http://www.squeak.org:7780/seaside/SqF/Donate?...
instead it should simply be filling into the href field
/seaside/SqF/Donate?...
or better yet once we convince it that it's based at '/'
/Donate?...
On the other hand, if we can simply convince it that it's hostname and port are www.squeakfoundation.org and 80 then maybe it won't matter.

But, isn't that what we had at the end (before I reset)? I thought you were referring to the key being inconsistent across the session. I'm confused.
