Use of the Announcements list has still not become the standard that I had hoped. The list has 127 subscribers which seems pretty good but entire months go by without a single submission although ANN messages are sent to squeak-dev. I'd like to request that an entry from the Announcements mailing list be added to the top of the Mailing list section of the Community page, something like:
Announcements is the first list everyone interested in Squeak should subscribe to, even if you subscribe to not other list. This list has a very low traffic level but will keep you up to date on events and new releases.

Well, I got no replies to this and nothing has been done as far as I can tell. Does everyone disagree? Did no one catch my request?
Well I have another one, please add something near the bottom of the list at
http://www.squeak.org/ContactUs/
along the lines of
* If you have found a problem with one of the other community services other than this website please send a report to the <a href="mailto: box-admins@lists.squeakfoundation.org">Box Admins</a>.
