I'm under the impression that the current website cannot be updated, as it doesn't hold on to changes. I think we can have the new website up in the next 48-hours and that should do the job. I can understand that in the history of Squeak the toil you've been put through to push this one out the door has been great. But I figure a little bit more time (where you aren't obligated to do more work) should be OK, right?

For the sake of done, can we just change the current squeak.org website real quick? I'm talking about just the download links and the "Did you know?" at the very top which still says, "Squeak 4.4 Released".
I'm still interested in the new website, of course, but this would just take someone a few minutes to do and so we can finally announce and be done with 4.5..?
If you really think you're gonna be ready in 48 hours, sure, it might be nice to coincide with the release then.
But, what do you mean by "it doesn't hold on to the changes?"

I'll have things running to the best of my ability tomorrow. I don't see a problem. What remains (nginx and tinydns) isn't rocket science. I'm not vying to be the new box team leader, but these two? I've got this.

The Aida wiki interface will take what you put into its forms. You press save. Then you refresh the site. You feel satisfied that it has updated, because you see your changes. Twenty minutes later they are gone. Repeat. Check. Fine. Gone. Repeat, etc. I think the correct way to say it is that the current image is frozen in its persistence. It doesn't want to persist anything new anymore.
