Hi All,
Hope all is well with all... haven't seen much traffic lately.
We need to add a new folder (I think it would be a folder) for "Press Releases" on the site. But, this may not be the best way to go about it. What I'd like to have is a 'Press Releases' page that contained links of our press releases. If the user clicked a link he'd be presented the particular press release. I don't know if we want each press release to be shown in the navigation menu to the left or not. I figured we wouldn't because eventually it would be quite long.
Right now we have two small press releases to place on the site. Any ideas on what the best way to present them would be?
If a folder is the best way, do you have to be an Administrator to add a folder?
thanks brad

answering my own question: I believe yes since you have to be able to select the "Changes" link.
Still would like to know your ideas on how to present the Press Releases.
Please check out wwwtest.squeak.org. I added a Press Releases folder and added two press releases. If they look ok to you, I'll add them to the main site.
Still.. I'd like to know how we can remove the individual press releases from the left menu but keep them as links on the main Press Releases folder.

It look good. The listing of pages in the menu on the left is done by the Menu class so we could hack it to not traverse/display the content of some folders. Karl

I guess if they get to unwieldy we could do that.
If there are no objections to adding these two releases, I'll add them to the main site.
going once....
