Dear Squeak Team,
I am contacting you from win.rar GmbH, the official publisher of WinRAR, with a business proposal that could be in your interest. While viewing your web-site at www.squeak.org, I noticed that you offer your downloads mainly in .zip and .exe formats. We would like to propose you to consider adding the .rar format to your current download options. Since RAR files can usually compress content up to 30 percent better than ZIP, this would save downloading time for the people who download files from your website.
WinRAR is the most complete file compression tool available on the market. It supports all RAR and ZIP archives, as well as most other popular archive formats, e.g. CAB, ARJ, LZH, ACE, TAR, GZip, UUE, ISO, BZIP2, Z and 7-Zip. The RAR archiver is also available for Linux, MacOS X, DOS, OS/2 and FreeBSD. Moreover, WinRAR is constantly being developed and all future updates are for free. Please check out our official website at www.win-rar.com for more detailed information about WinRAR.
To begin our cooperation, we would like to offer you a free license of WinRAR so that you can have a chance to test our product firsthand. If you are happy with WinRAR and feel that it is a product that Squeak Team would be interested in using, then we would like to discuss ways in which we can offer WinRAR to you.
We hope that you will consider our business proposal. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. You can reach me personally via e-mail or call me at +49-421-639390.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,

Sure, we'll just pay you a lot of money for software that doesn't fulfill our packaging requirements any better than freely available software.
Looks like an automatic mail-out. Does Germany have spam laws against this?

Michael, the list is moderated and there is lots of spam, this one looked like a legit mail so I let it through. I know nothing about WinRAR but someone might be interested ;-) Karl
