I'm noticing that at least in some cases the www.squeak.org site is using URLs with box2.squeakfoundation.org and this is not a good idea. The site should be portable to any server which is properly setup. The cases I noticed are for CSS and favico but there may be others. If the problem is with accessing static files then talk to me and I will work out a way to do this that is more portable.

Seems it is not possible to access www.squeak.org/website which is were the files are. Anything to make that work would be helpfull. Karl
I'm considering setting up a new hostname static.squeak.org that would be a plain apache static setup and point to ~website/static/ and then you could setup the appropriate directory structure under that. How does that sound?

Sounds great. We knew that this would be a temporary "fix", but it feel under my radar and so I never got back to it. Thanks for the push!

OK. I've setup static.squeak.org which points to ~website/static/ which I see someone has already setup. I disabled auto-indexing so people couldn't just browse through it at random.
