P.S. Can anyone tell me why in the last week notices of issues with the squeak-dev mailing list have started being sent to the box-admins list? (You haven't been seeing them because I haven't been approving them.) Did someone change that on purpose? If you reply to this message, keeping the Subject: header intact, Mailman will discard the held message. Do this if the message is spam. If you reply to this message and include an Approved: header with the list password in it, the message will be approved for posting to the list. The Approved: header can also appear in the first line of the body of the reply.

Long ago Cees called for assistance approving email from non-subscribers to squeak-dev and Evan signed up then, same time I did, but I don't remember ever receiving an email from him, so I'm not sure when the address went bad. I do know that someone besides me approves email from non-subscribers. Maybe Cees, maybe Evan.

A different approach would be to change the password for admin access to the squeak-dev list, broadcast it to the admin addresses, and see who, if anyone, squawks about the change.

I'm glad to finally have received a reply from each of you regarding this issue. But in our usual fashion each of us said something, but as far as I can tell no one did anything.

Can we move forward with the password change and broadcast plan? (Note that because of the current situation I will almost certainly get a copy of the password since I will likely get a bounceback from Evan; you might want to keep that in mind.)

Is there anything I need to do? It looks like it should be the decicion of the manager of the squeak-dev list to remove the boundcing adress and decide if a change in the passwd is needed or not...
