I noticed that the current_development symbolic link goes to the 3.9alpha directory not the 3.9beta directory. I don't know how to change a symbolic link.
Could one of the box admins do that ?

Technically yes. However this is under the authority of the current release team and, although I suspect you are correct that it needs to be changed, they may have some reason for leaving it this way. I'm sending this to the release team and in the future any FTP site issues that relate to release directories should probably be sent to the release team. (Although Cc'ing box-admins might not be a bad idea.)

I think it should point to the newest directory. I'l fix that later today.

renamed 3.9 to 3.9alpha renamed 3.9beta to 3.9
and links:
3.9beta -> 3.9 current_development -> 3.9
