Hi,
For the last couple of weeks, I cannot load anymore Dave's "update" lineup in VMMaker, because of some packages stored on ss3.gemstone.com (FreeType and FreeTypeConstants). I get a ConnectionRefused: Cannot connect to #[204 246 122 142]
This used to work. Has something changed, or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you, Florin
It looks like ss3.gemstone.com has gone off line for some reason, I can't even ping it right now.
If it does not come back we can put a copy of those packages somewhere else for safe keeping.

http://ss3.gemtalksystems.com/ works. Mybe they dropped a redirect?

It would probably be smart to try doing that anyway; some packages are pretty useful and would be a nuisance ot lose.

Hi Florin,
Thanks to Marcel for identifying the issue. The ss3.gemstone.com repository has a new address at ss3.gemtalksystems.com, so I updated the VMMaker 'update' configuration to point to this new address.
The latest configuration map at http://source.squeak.org/VMMaker/update-dtl.26.mcm should be working again now.
Please reply here if there are any further issues, and thank you very much for reporting the problem.

We need older versions of the update map as well to get fresh VMMaker images up and running

Hi Marcel,
I will need to follow up on that later. I see that you did updates for gemtalksystems in all of the update.oscog maps, so I should probably do the same.

Hi all --
gemstone.com seems to be gone for good. Use gemtalksystems.com instead.
I already updated update.oscog-mt.8.mcm update.oscog-mt.7.mcm
I should probably update all others as well. I don't think that .mcm are cached inside the image or in the package-cache on disk? Maybe also clear that cache then...
