1. Regarding having my blessing for Casey becoming the list manager for the Squeak-dev mailing list: you have it.
2. Regarding receiving the list administrator rights and passwords: If the password Steve is using came from Cees I expect that means it has been the same for a very long time now and it's probably a very good time to change it. So I think to simplify matters (at least simplify them for Steve) I will take the responsibility for changing the list settings including setting a new password and getting it to Casey.
Casey: Do you have a public pgp/gpg key? I searched the MIT key server for your current email address and couldn't find one. Or is http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=vindex&search=0xED25607DBDAF1986 you?
So as far as passing the baton from Steve to Casey, regarding the technical details, I will take care of it. Do you mind Steve if we do this sooner than 3 weeks from now if Casey is ready?
3. Regarding the SOB: I agree that the squeak-dev mailing list administrator is within the purview of the box-admins team. That said, I think it's worth at least notifying the SOB that a change has occurred. Again, I will take care of that.

These are valid concerns. Having them is responsible, Göran. I don't think I should take this role without some consensus, in spite of my own desire to do it.

Ken's blessing would give me a good deal of confidence, but the Board should make the decision. I'm offering to do it in the interim, and afterwards if asked.
