Hmm... Either there's a double subscription, or the interaction with bellsouth.net and box2 results in box2 thinking that the mail didn't go through.
I suspect that the latter might be the first thing we want to research, because with a double subscription the timestamps of the deliveries would be closer to each other. I've CC'ed the box admins, because I am a bit busy at the moment, maybe one of them can go through the mail logs before I get a chance.

No, I haven't. Do you have the full copies of the duplicates? Often, examining the Message-Id and Received headers quickly show what is wrong.
Approximately 100 more duplicates this evening. I do have full copies but examining them reveals nothing to me. :( As an example, I dumped 4 copies of the headers Craig's Spoon update message into 4 files. The Message-Id lines are all the same. What difference exists lies in a couple of Received lines, e.g.,
bubelah:~ sge$ diff m1 m2 7,8c7,8 < Received: from ibm23aec.bellsouth.net ([85.10.195.197]) by imf04aec.mail.bellsouth.net with ESMTP id <20060130235035.KCPQ3108.imf04aec.mail.bellsouth.net@ibm23aec.bellsouth. net> for sgelkins@bellsouth.net; Mon, 30 Jan 2006 18:50:35 -0500 < Received: from box2.squeakfoundation.org ([85.10.195.197]) by ibm23aec.bellsouth.net with SMTP id <20060130234650.CTTX21130.ibm23aec.bellsouth.net@box2.squeakfoundation.o rg> for sgelkins@bellsouth.net; Mon, 30 Jan 2006 18:46:50 -0500

The [E]SMTP ids and the timestamps differ; the rest looks the same to me. Mean anything to you? I'll put all the headers from one of Craig's messages at the end of this message.
Thanks, Steve
