Salut! J'suivais cette liste pour quelque temps et j'était curieux si quelqu'un ira à OOPSLA au California le semaine prochaine? Je suspecte non car il est très loin de la France. Condenser le .changes

Cela m'intéresse de retrouver la solution pour diminuer la taille des fichiers de mes étudiants qui ont un quota sur leur compte utilisateur ici à l'université. [Urgent] offre de stage

Bonjour, A l'intention des étudiants Squeakers. Deux possibilités de stages **rémunérés** au labo informatique de l'Ecole des Mines de Douai (http://csl.ensm-douai.fr/research). Il s'agit de stages développement en Squeak de deux mois à partir du **3 novembre**. Le financement est de 305 Euro par mois environ. Je propose les sujets suivants : -Développement d'une application d'agenda partagé distribué accessible sur le web -Développement d'une d'agenda "embarqué" dans un assistant numérique (PDA). -Développement d'un environnement graphique de programmation par composants logiciels Un de mes collègues (seriai(a)ensm-douai.fr) propose les sujets suivants : -Développement d’un noyau de modèle de composants logiciels. Exemple applicatif : développement d’un agenda électronique à base de composants logiciels définis suivant le modèle précédent. -Développement d’un noyau pour un modèle de composants logiciels multi-points de vues. Exemple applicatif : développement d’un simulateur de fabrication de voitures pour la CAO. C'est très pratique d'avoir le transcript pour voir ce qui se passe (sauvegarde, erreurs au chargement, ...). Smalltalk en Allemand

Je fais cette demande car je travaille avec deux allemandes qui souhaitent apprendre smalltalk. La version Python permet de lire notamment les index créés par la version Java. On doit pouvoir faire aussi bien en Smalltalk et avoir une certaine compatibilité avec Lucène ! Il n'y a pas un étudiant sur la liste qui cherche un projet ? ;-) Je peux essayer de proposer cela chez moi comme projet de maitrise également. Bot The Robot

Salut les squeakers, Nous sommes en train d'utiliser pour l'enseignement 1er cycle à l'IUT "Bot The Robot" et "SqueakTurtle" de Stéphane Ducasse, et les étudiants accrochent vraiment sur ce type ludique d'apprentissage. Merci stéphane pour ce formidable outil ! Vous pouvez aller voir notre travail sur le wiki de serge : http://http://www.iutc3.unicaen.fr/serge/SergeStinckwich/AlgorithmiqueProgr… Nous utilisons aussi le wiki pour que les étudiants mettent en ligne leurs scripts : http://www.iutc3.unicaen.fr/etu/GroupePremi_e8reAnn_e9eTP3_2e1 L'idéal serait que l'intégration des scripts sur un wiki se fasse directement à l'intérieur de squeak (on doit faire des copier-coller pour l'instant), qui sait, ptet un jour avec SmallWiki ? ;-) Stéphane, un problème qu'on a rencontré, c'est lorsqu'on change de carte, le robot disparaît alors qu'on aimerait bien garder le même controleur, du coup, on est obligé de rajouter un nouveau robot, avec un nouveau controleur : y'a t'il moyen de garder l'ancien controleur ? Merci ! PS: dans le tutoriel, tu utilises canPickDiamond qui est en fait canPick, et sur la version 3.2 (on en est encore à cette version ici), il y'a un triggerEvent: qui n'est pas compris, mais il n'y a pas d'incompatibilité (j'ai juste enlevé la ligne, pour que ça continue à fonctionner). Dernière chose, ça a pas mal buggé sur nos machines au début avant que je comprenne qu'il fallait utiliser "Bot silent" (nos machines ne sont pas configurés avec carte son), peut-être que le son devrait être une option ? [sauvegarder un projet] Ne fonctionne pas quand il y a un débogueur

Avez-vous remarqué que la sauvergarde de projet ne fonctionne pas si un débogueur est ouvert ? J'ai mis un moment à découvrir ça. Est-ce qu'il faut considérer que c'est un Bug ? En tous cas c'est une info bonne à savoir pour les novices c'est pourquoi je poste ça ce soir. Alexandre
