Merci Lionel d'avoir donné ces eclaircissements. :-) Ce qui m'interesse dans ce thread c'est de comprendre les éléments suivants: - C'est quoi un EJB? Ca sert à quoi? - Pourquoi a-t-on souhaité inventés ce concept/outil? Pour calmer quelle douleur? - Est-ce que Smalltalk souffre de la même douleur? - Si oui, quelles solutions existent en Smalltalk? - Si non, pourquoi? Les domaines .fr sont disponible au grand public a partir d'aujourd'hui. Je constate que smalltalk.fr est disponible. ca pourrait etre sympa d'avoir ca comme domaine pour le site smalltalk francais ? Je suis pret a l'acheter ( au moins pour la premiere annee ), je prends mes domaines chez Gandi.net Ensuite, je ne sais pas qui gere le wiki, si on pourrait utiliser ce domaine (je n'ai pas la possibilite de fournir un hebergement encore ). enfin, je lance l'idee, Yann

The IDEs were either not free: Wing, Komodo and in the future PyDev based on Qt (Eric4) had no liberal license (Gnu! ): SPE couldn't eat their own dog food as they were based on Java: PyDev or didn't have convincing screenshots: DrPython Alan, which python IDE would you suggest us to widen our perspectives for ourselves, the job market and for helping to make the world a better place - if it is not Squeak? So I do think that Etoys are the way to go... no matter what the language is underneath - be it smalltalk/python/ruby/etc...

C'est le début d'une doc sur XML : http://community.ofset.org/wiki/Les_bases_de_XML_dans_Squeak. Cette documentation est issu du travail de Sébastien Le Maguer, étudiant en Licence à Brest. le but est d'intégrer progressivement son rapport dans cette doc. J'ai ajouté une entrée [[XML]] dans http://community.ofset.org/wiki/Programmer_avec_Squeak. On peut alors compléter avec XPath (déjà avancé par Sébastien) , XMLTransformer... alain

Bonjour, en testant un peu avec 'XMLDOMParser addressBookXMLWithDTD'. la variable d'instance 'parent' des XMLNode est toujours à nil. comment fait-on pour résoudre ce lien vers le parent ? merci alain

Dojo Smalltalk: qui est interessé?

Hello all, Serge et moi souhaiterions lancer une expérience de "Dojo de programmation Smalltalk" sur Paris. Un Dojo de programmation est un lieu dans lequel nous nous rassemblons, débutants et confirmés, newbie et gourous mélangés. L'objectif est de progresser collectivement dans la pratique de la programmation Smalltalk, tout comme un Dojo permet de progresser dans la pratique des arts martiaux. Durant la session Dojo, nous sommes amenés à programmer collectivement, tous réunis autour du même code, et partageant ensemble nos interrogations, nos doutes et nos idées pour y répondre.
