Ok, thanks a lot. Got it, and have installed in Windows Vista. Apparently it works alrigth. Just needed the 3.8-05 in my computer to be able to work with the kids, produce some material, etc.
all the best,
bruno

Hi Bruno.
Which platform do you use? If it is windows, the installer is archived at http://etoys.squeak.org/svn/tags/tinlizzie/installerVise/3.8-05/SqueakPlugin...
But the 3.8-05 is really old version and I don't know if it really works on your new box with newer windows. Which version of Windows do you use?
I would suggest you to use the latest Etoys package if possible. We have improved many area and it works on the latest windows/browser.

Hey all,
the laptops delivered now in Brazil (National UCA Project) have an older version of Etoys installed in it. I am wondering if I can get olders versions to download, and if it is still possible, where. I've searched around, but was not able to find... The version is specifically -"squeakland 3.8-05 version". can anyone help me with that?
all the best,
Bruno

Hello Bert,
2010/6/14 Bert Freudenbergbert@freudenbergs.de
Issues I noticed:
- DrGeoII-core refers to DrGeoWindow and DrGeoService, both do not exist
DrGeoService I don' t think there are such class reference.
- there is an undeclared "dirty" inst var in both DrGMathItem and
DrGMathItemCostume
fixed.
- DrGService class>>descriptionForPartsBin should use #translatedNoop, not
#translated
fixing
I have push the fixes upstream
Where should I push the fixes in the Etoys repository?
Would be nice if you could fix those.
Otherwise it seems to work fine (though I'm not fluent enough with it to do much). Maybe you could contribute an example project, too?
Indeed, it would be nice.
Also, I think I remember reading about a nicer UI - are you still working on that?
This recent work to redesign and rethough the DrGeo user interface is based on the Polymorph GUI extension ( http://blog.ofset.org/hilaire/index.php?post/2010/06/07/DrGeoII-new-user-int...). It improves a lot the usability of the application. It will require some work to get an equivalent for Etoys.
Hilaire
