Works fine for me, on both 4.1 beta and 4.0. Maybe it's not as pronounced as the other borders but it definitely works. Try a different monitor?

Would be nice if someone made a new home screen project. I'd like it to be similar to the current one but recognizably different so you can tell it's a new version.
