I noted the export to PNG/JPG entries disappeared from the Morph menu. Is there a way to get them back ?
it back by setting eToyFriendly off . But I can't figure out why the functionality is "etoys unfriendly"... or just bug?
In Sugar these menu items do not export to the Journal. If someone exports it as file, it's very hard to import into another activity. Ask Randy, he tried ;)
Copy-and-paste is more friendly, don't you think? E.g., get halo, press Cmd-C, switch to mail app, press Cmd-P, done:
No file names involved, no searching in which folder it was saved, no worrying about the difference between PNG and JPG.
If you need to save to a file, run Preview, choose "New from Clipboard" (or press Cmd-N), then save in any format you like, including PNG.
I'm *not* saying we couldn't re-enable the export menu items, just explaining why we thought them to be unfriendly except for advanced users who like to deal with files and file names and file formats etc.

This could be due to a bug in OpenOffice.org 3.0 on *ubuntu Jaunty (9.04) releases.
You can work around by pasting it into a graphics app (GIMP, Inkscape etc) and then copy-paste onto OO.
